Personal Life:

I live in Seattle, Washington where I have grasped the métier of home life and housework. It is at home where I find my art juice flowing abundantly and my concentration in writing at its peak. And lucky me, the year-round overcast days, deep green forests, and tranquil rains of the Pacific Northwest fuelled my imagination to continue writing fantasy novels about young heroes wandering into new worlds and wondering about their destinies.

In 2023, Mark and I founded CLEVR PH. We offer Exec + Tech Searches, C-Level Succession, and Market Analysis. More than just a search firm, we built CLEVR PH with the intention of shaking things up in the Philippine corporate scene. Spirituality:

“What ye send forth comes back to thee, so ever mind the Rule of Three.”

I am spiritual, not religious. I believe in the presence of the unseen and I take a logical approach in understanding as to why and how paranormal events occur. Taking the Intro to Parapsychology course from the University of Edinburgh gave me an insight on where the scientific society stands when it comes to accepting psychic phenomena and paranormal experiences. (Still very unlikely, TBH!) Until then, I look at nature, observing its behavior, as my biggest source of information. What belongs to nature will act accordingly and happen naturally. I do witchcraft because it is fundamentally a practice of working with nature, but I am yet to call myself a witch wholeheartedly. I need to learn more about the craft and fully commit to it before I’m deserving of such title. My experience with the unknown, seeking answers to explain it, and finding ways to fight fear led me to embracing the craft. I was raised Catholic and I have incorporated elements of Catholicism to my spirituality and practice of witchcraft. I utilize gifts from nature such as light, herbs, salt, water, and crystals to aid me in my daily ritual.

Energy is always my answer when explaining the existence of the unseen. Everything is or has energy. Our souls are energies. The impression we leave someone we met for the first time is energy. The vibe of the house matching the owner’s personality is energy. The wishes, hexes, curses, and blessings we give and receive are all forms of energies. Energy is scientifically proven even when it can’t be seen directly. The only exception is light—and I tell everyone to seek light for protection against bad energies. Education:

I graduated from Fullerton College in California, with a degree in Liberal Studies (focus on Child Development) in 2008. I accompanied my degree with the completion of Weekend Associate Teacher Program Certificate, Associate Teacher Certificate, and American Red Cross’ CA Child Care Preventative Health and Safety Certificate. And in 2019, I completed the Introduction to Parapsychology course at the University of Edinburgh, Scotland.

 

First Time Published:

At the age of 17, my entry to the 2002 compilation of poems by the International Library of Poetry was selected. The book titled Dancing in Light features poems from poets of all ages and status. The poem is dedicated to all the victims of racism. It is questioning the existence of hate and segregation in the present time. Since then, I never stopped writing.
