Balay ni Bantay is a community project created to act as an extra hand or lifeline for dog rescue organizations in the Philippines. Our mission is to provide struggling shelters with their daily needs from food supplies to medications, while they work on managing their finances. We also aim to back urgent rescue operations with inadequate funds to carry-on the tasks. Balay ni Bantay was created by author, Jan Pareja, with the help of family and friends who share the same vision of a better world for our furry companions.
Many of these struggling shelters in the Philippines are short-handedly run by passionate citizens in their private properties. Majority of these independent rescuers are minimal in sourcing funds and are limited in utilizing social media to such purpose. Balay ni Bantay aims to provide an extra platform for these sanctuaries to receive the help they need and the online exposure they deserve.
